SHADVALA Lab

SHADVALA Lab is an independent geospatial technology venture operated under Maytra Group subsidiary Shadvala Geospatial LLP, where we work on earth-sciences, spatial computing, and geo analytics to design and develop geoinformatics solutions for remote sensing and mapping, and geo analytics. Globally we offer GIS and weather services for the visualization of geographic data, analysis of spatial relationships, and accurate efficient data management, GIS Mapping services and GIS Remote Sensing services for capturing, storing, integrating, manipulating, analyzing, and displaying data related to positions on the Earth’s surface for numerous commercial applications as well as for international development.

We offer customized solar maps, weather data, ocean, and geological data to support renewable energy, agriculture, forestry, oceanography, and extractives industry.

We convert GIS data to prepare electronic maps by utilizing the paper or electronic data captured or collected. The GIS data conversions allow data from different sources to be merged in one common format, which allows for easy access, analysis, and utilization. We integrate GIS, CAD, and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) services, by using high-end GIS Mapping and GIS data conversions software, to produce contour maps, spatial maps, atlas maps, cadastral maps, thematic and zonal maps, landscape maps, and environmental maps. These services provide application support to various sectors such as agriculture, energy, infrastructure, extractives, utility, geology, financial services, and land information management for urban development, and rural development.

SHADVALA’s complex GIS Mapping Services and GIS Remote Sensing services include capturing, storing, integrating, manipulating, analyzing, and displaying data related to positions on the Earth’s surface. Our services are used for system design and architecture, management and maintenance, map production and analysis, database design and development, user training and support, and 3-D modelling and visualization for GIS mapping products and GIS remote sensing products. Our data acquisition capabilities allow us to capture high-resolution aerial and LiDAR data from fixed- and rotary-wing platforms, such as drones or UAVs. We also support vehicle-based mobile laser data capture.

Remote Sensing & Earth Observations

Our expertise using satellite data in combination with improved remote-sensing data processing technology ranges from capturing and updating topography mapping, hydrological, agricultural, and man-made infrastructure data sets, or preparing GIS base maps to observe and monitor wide range of phenomena such as vegetation biomass, phenology, water quality, land and sea surface temperature, ocean salinity, biogeochemical cycles, land cover changes, climatic variability, and climate change. We further offer digital photogrammetry services, indoor mapping, navigation, cadastral mapping, parcel mapping, pole loading analysis, viewshed analysis, and geofencing services, among others.

LiDAR Data Processing

We offer expertise in LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) data acquisition, mapping, data processing, and feature extraction services. With well-designed methodologies and deep understanding of high-resolution imagery and LiDAR datasets, we provide detailed digital twin from a single capture source containing accurate location and height, such as representing houses, power lines, and roads in 3-D, exactly as they appear in the real world, thus eliminating need to be physically present at site, which saves time and money and mitigate safety risks.

Underground Mapping

We offer customized underground mapping solutions to help utilities, telecom, municipalities, oil and gas, and other infrastructure planners gauge the precise depth and configurations of buried assets before they start excavation. Our solutions enable organizations to minimize the damage to assets, project delays, costs, and complexities of subsurface works. We capture, interpret, and digitize precise information on water mains, sewage pipes, telephone cables, power lines, gas supply channels, oil pipelines, and the like.

Spatial Computing

Spatial computing is broadly synonymous with extended reality (XR) - an umbrella term for virtual, augmented, and mixed reality. It’s where we use physical space as a computer interface. Machines no longer need to be tied to a fixed location. Our spatial computing services add value through technical mastery in development, animation, modelling, visual effects, audio, concept art, motion capture, etc. We offer rapid prototyping, product development, wearables, hardware prototyping, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, web VR, and augmented reality solutions. Through our spatial computing services we are bringing human-machine and machine-machine interactions to new levels of efficiency in many walks of life, such as health care for accurate and reliable diagnosis, transportation for eco-routing, manufacturing for optimization in production capacity, or to address 3-D design challenges in automotive industry.
