Promoting the use of renewable sources of energy by offering services to a variety of stakeholders in the sector. Focused mainly on distributed solar installations and solar energy parks, the services offered to RE developers include technical and supply-chain related assistance to increase their ability to provide quality products and to the financial institutions to improve their capacity to serve the RE market and to facilitate financing. The services were further extended to those government institutions that provide the enabling environment necessary for the development of the sector.

Program design, engineering and procurement: Expansion of photovoltaic solar energy programs, connecting over 500 rural health centres and 300 schools throughout the country, International Development Association-funded program to building new transmission lines and distribution networks, expanding access to electricity, and supporting through clean cooking facilitation to reduce wood fuel usage, deforestation and household pollution creating healthcare issues in the provinces of Cabo Delgado, Niassa, Manica, and Inhambane.

The property include total of 120 independent suites, bungalows, kitchen, facilities, clubs, pools and connecting infrastructure. The integrated area development include increasing biodiversity through planned forestry, rehabilitation of villages, and creating alternate employment for project affected population.

Development of industrial parks and other infrastructure along 150 km on both sides of a Dedicated Freight Corridor(DFC) that covers a distance of 1,483 km between Delhi and Mumbai – Coordination, data collection, engineering design and techno-economic assessment of the project. Assessment of Cost-Benefit analysis, estimation of costs and work budgets and financial engineering of the funding arrangement. Assessment of rehabilitation and environmental impact. Planning and designing linked activities, private sector participation, legal aspects of the development and resources roadmap designing.

Project Management of Highway project construction activity. Work include 46 No. road bridges, 12 ROBs, 2 Ghat Sections, 4 Tunnels and 2 large Viaducts. Work facilitation and challenges include monitoring land-acquisition, rehabilitation, overhead electric line shifting and ghat section grouting, etc.

Ethiopia, Sudan | The World Bank + Export Import Bank of India (For Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation) | Ethiopia/Nile basin initiative power export project
Ethiopia-Sudan Interconnector including Evacuator, 400 KVA Transmission Line, and Substations – Feasibility, planning, engineering, and funding of the project and subsequent project monitoring of this Jointly funded first of its kind bilateral project. The project had two components: (a) construction of a transmission interconnection (400 KVA) between the Ethiopian towns of Bahir-Dar and Metema at the Ethiopia/Sudan border, including substation expansion and rehabilitation, thereby linking the Ethiopian system to Sudan’s grid, which is being extended in parallel to the border, and (b) strengthening EEPCo’s institutional capacity to promote and implement regional power integration.

The project consists of construction of Dam, Powerhouse, Intake & Tailrace Tunnels, and power evacuation systems.
